WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are currently partnering with clients in Melbourne to find Venue Operations Officers with proven experience in the sporting and/or stadium industry. As a Venue Operations Officer, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and management of a sports stadium. You will ensure all events are executed seamlessly, maintaining high standards of safety, security, and guest services. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing event logistics, and ensuring the stadium is in top condition for all events.
We are looking to connect with people specifically who have experience of any of the following;
1. Event Management - Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring all logistics are in place, from setup to breakdown.
2. Facility Maintenance - Ensure the stadium is well-maintained, coordinating with maintenance staff and external contractors for repairs and upgrades.
3. Safety and Security - Implement and monitor safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of all attendees, staff, and participants.
4. Staff Coordination - Manage and coordinate with stadium staff, including security, ushers, ticketing personnel, and cleaners.
5. Guest Services - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns from guests promptly and professionally.
6. Vendor Management - Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products required for events.
7. Compliance - Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
ABOUT YOU
8. Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
9. Proven experience in venue operations, event management, or a related role within the sports or entertainment industry.
