This role will specifically be working within the School of Department Information Systems & Business Analytics. About the role: This position is suited to a person with an emerging record and passion for learning and teaching, a keen interest in contributing to community engagement for teaching and employability. As a Senior Lecturer, Education-focused, you will: Lead unit and course teaching teams and work collaboratively with other teaching teams in the faculty to develop effective unit/courses curricula and learning materials. Integrate industry, clinical and/or research practice into unit/course design to improve student learning experiences, success, engagement and resources. Lead the development and/or adoption of new innovation in curriculum design within a course and deliver learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices across different levels / modes of delivery. Design collaborative learning opportunities at the course level. Support diverse learners by designing accessible and inclusive unit and course material and practices. Develop effective assessment tasks and rubrics at unit and course level. Provide clear assessment criteria and timely feedback to learners to demonstrate learning outcomes. To be successful, you'll have: Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning. Ability to deliver effective teaching practices to improve student success and engagement. PhD in a relevant discipline and/or advanced qualifications and experience in the relevant discipline area. Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design and research supervision. Evidence of leadership in scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or post graduate programs, including innovative curriculum design and education development.
