About the roleThe JobAccess Claims Officer's key objective is to assist with the performance and compliance activities of the program to achieve job seeker outcome targets.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Operate as an expert in claims management to comply with Department of Employment and Department of Social Services, Deed and Guideline requirements.Ensure special claims are accurate and where there is an issue, identify and undertake remedial action.Provide a high level of support and guidance to staff and managers in the understanding and implementation of the Deeds and Guidelines.Supportive, flexible and willing to meet and adjust to management and changing business needs.Ensure all activities are in alignment to the genU WHS policies and procedures.Participate and promote the health and wellbeing of all staff.About YouThe successful candidate will have proven experience within JobAccess services and have knowledge of the current Employment Services DEED Guidelines.
The preferred candidate will also have:
Experience in delivering services under Workforce Australia, Disability Employment Services or Training Services.Understanding of compliance and contractual obligations associated with Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) and Department of Social Services contracts (DSS) including confidentiality requirements under Commonwealth Government contracts and the ability to implement services within these programs.Relevant Certificate or Qualification in Administration and/or demonstrated experience in an Administration role.Proven administrative skills, including computer skills with an emphasis on Word, Excel, ESS, Internet search and email applications, databases.Why us?Join a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation, professional growth, and creating positive outcomes for students.
