The Role Reporting to the Trading Manager, you will be primarily responsible for developing a sustainable business in the Canola market.You will work closely with the overseas desks and be supported with global resources, as you develop a strategic plan to actively participate in the Canola trading market. You will: Ensure accurate market analysis and mapping of relevant opportunities and relationships Provide supply and demand analysis to domestic and overseas leadership Actively trade canola oil with the guidance of the Trading Manager within agreed upon pricing Participate in the global soft seeds meetings and contribute with positions, market insights and strategies. The Person To be successful in this role you will have: 3+ years experience working within a relevant market, and a strong understanding of the oilseeds sector. Suitable tertiary qualifications – ideally within an agribusiness or related field Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and be naturally detail orientated Knowledge of the Australian grains sector and a passion for the industry. In return you will be working closely with an established, reputable trading team and a key part of their global supply chain.You will be able to visit overseas teams to assist with training, and be seen as the point of reference within the Australian market for the canola market.
