The role is integral in elevating the quality of information and advice to government ministers, maintaining effective working with Minister’s offices, and providing high-level secretariat support. Your responsibilities include: Establishing and improving department processes for assured delivery of high quality, responsive, complete and timely advice to Ministers, including through capability building actions. Managing Secretariats for two key meeting structures for the department’s engagement with Ministers and their offices. Identifying and mitigating risk, responding to emerging challenges for effective resolutions. Great relationship management and communication skills Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as public management, policy or considerable experience in advising governments.
