This role involves designing, implementing, and executing automated test suites, integrating them seamlessly into CI/CD processes, and collaborating closely with development and operations teams to identify and address quality issues early in the software development lifecycle.Due to the secure nature of this role, Australian citizens with a security clearance will be preferred for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegrated Plan Creation: Develop an integrated plan for the project, including a detailed test plan. End-to-End Testing: Conduct comprehensive end-to-end tests to demonstrate the core functionalities of the Automation Tooling and Integrations. User Acceptance Testing: Participate in User Acceptance Testing, ensuring the solutions meet user requirements and expectations. Here’s What You NeedProficiency in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cypress to develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring thorough test coverage and early detection of defects Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code, to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote a culture of quality throughout the software development process Experience in building and maintaining test environments and infrastructure using configuration management tools like Ansible t, ensuring consistency and repeatability across testing environments and deployments Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, or Bash to automate testing tasks, manipulate test data, and perform environment setup and teardown as part of automated test execution Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA analysts to define testing requirements, develop test strategies, and prioritize testing efforts based on business priorities and risk factors Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues, triage defects, and work proactively to prevent recurrence through process improvements and automation enhancements Bonus points if withFamiliarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling to conduct load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing of software applications, identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing system performance Understanding of security testing principles and tools, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, and penetration testing, to assess the security posture of applications and infrastructure and mitigate vulnerabilities effectively Benefits of working at Accenture:18 weeks paid parental leave Long & short-term career break opportunities Structured career development program Local and international career opportunities.
