The Team Leader – Nursing Workforce Development/Data Analyst works with a significant degree of independent decision making, receiving advice and direction from and working in consultation and collaboration with Nursing Directors and Executive Director Of Nursing and Midwifery.As part of the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Office, and working collaboratively with the Hospitals North West Executive Leadership Team, this role will design and implement change management processes to support the development and implementation of the Workforce Planning Unit.Partnering with other health professionals and resource personnel and supervising administrative staff on recruitment processes and policy to improve and coordinate the use of information systems that improve standards of patient care.The Role:To lead and manage the Nursing Workforce Planning Unit providing high level advice and support to the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery and Nursing Directors/Managers across a range of nursing management matters including staffing models, rostering practices, data analysis and maintaining optimal use of resources, maintaining and modifying policy, administrative processes and research projects.Demonstrated experience and expertise in project management and delivery.High-level knowledge, understanding and delivery of health workforce planning/data analysis.Sound knowledge and experience in the use of database and spreadsheet applications and the interpretation, presentation and use of statistical information including the capacity to conduct research and analysis and prepare high level reports.Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders and articulate highly complex issues that are understandable to the audience.Demonstrated self-motivation with the ability to exercise initiative to achieve results whilst working in a challenging work environment.Details of appointment:Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary: $128,102 to $134,832 per annum.
