Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting leader Coulson Aviation, supporting Australian states and emergency service organizations with heavy aircraft and experienced team members.
Our operations in New South Wales involve managing the Rural Fire Service fleet of aerial firefighting and emergency services assets, consisting of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
With a diverse fleet, including Boeing 737 FIRELINER, Citation, King Air Command/Control aircraft, CH47D Chinooks, UH-60 Blackhawks, and Bell 412EP helicopters, we operate a high-paced year-round operation.
Additionally, we manage all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems, and management.
Job Summary:
We are recruiting qualified UH-60/S70 Blackhawk Pilots and Co-Pilots to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct aerial work operations, including aerial fire suppression, dispensing operations, external load, intel, surveillance & reconnaissance (ISR), search and rescue, and disaster mitigation.
* Act as PIC or Co-pilot of S70A-9 Black Hawk helicopter in firefighting operations and other missions as required by the company.
* Work in a team environment, conducting operations in support of emergency services, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
* Be flexible and willing to work away from home base at short notice, with opportunities for competitive salary and work-life balance.
Requirements:
* Australian CPL(H) with 3000 hours of experience.
* Rotary experience, Australian Class 1 Medical, HUET, CRM, Dangerous Goods Awareness, Low Level Firefighting rating, and Low Level Sling Load Rating.
* Minimum 3 years and 500 hours of experience in remote area and unimproved landing area operations.
* Minimum 3 years and 500 hours of background in Part 138 Aerial work operations, including firefighting and/or external load operations.
* The right to live and work in Australia.
Desirable Qualifications:
* UH60/S70 Blackhawk endorsement.
* Grade 1 NVIS Rating.
* Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
