Summary: Based in Redbank, with domestic and international travel, the Maintenance and Repair Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and availability of our Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). This hands-on position is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing UAS hardware, including mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems, while supporting high-quality production standards and operational timelines. In this hands-on role, you will: Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on UAS components, including mechanical, electrical, structural (composite), and avionics systems. Conduct inspections to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with quality standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage. Assist in the development and execution of preventative maintenance schedules. Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure seamless operations. To excel in this role, you will need: Certificate IV or equivalent in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in UAS maintenance, repair, or aerospace/aviation systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques. Strong knowledge of UAS mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems. Australian Citizenship with eligibility to obtain a national security clearance. Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically.
