This is an opportunity to join the Boeing Research and Technology (BR&T) organisation. BR&T is a highly collaborative organisation that delivers world-leading Australian Research and Development to all parts of Boeing commercial and defence, with the goal of revolutionising how we design and build aircrafts.
The team located here in Port Melbourne focus on new composite materials development, integrated composite architectures, advanced productions systems and advanced lab testing capabilities.
If you want to put your university studies into practice before graduating, Boeing Australia’s university intern opportunities will provide you with hands-on insight into the fast-paced global aerospace industry.
For students in their second, third or fourth year of study, we offer a 12-week placement at a number of our Boeing subsidiaries as well as our Research and Technology division, to work on site-based and corporate projects. As well as interesting, real-life work experience, we also offer you a mentor and peer support. Plus, you gain insights into Boeing Australia to help decide the best career options for when you graduate.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
If you are currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in one the following, you are eligible to participate:
1. Aerospace
2. Chemical
3. Materials Science
4. Mechanical
5. Mechatronics
6. Robotics
In addition, you must be available to work full-time during the course of the internship, which commences late November 2024 and finishes in late February 2025.
These positions are based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne.
Due to the nature of the work you may participate in, you will need to be an Australian citizen with eligibility to obtain a Defence Security clearance.
