Our client is a NDIS Registered Provider delivering NDIS services to people with disability in NSW. Core to success is nurturing and developing our client's already passionate and values-driven workforce, through the appointment of a strong and experienced HR Manager.
Role responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals.
2. Employee Relations: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and resolving issues effectively.
3. Recruitment & Selection: Manage the full recruitment and selection process to ensure we attract top talent.
4. Talent Management: Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.
5. HR Systems & Strategy: Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures to streamline operations and drive success.
6. Work Environment: Foster a positive working culture, ensuring employee satisfaction and well-being.
7. Performance Management: Oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and employee growth.
8. Compensation & Benefits: Maintain and optimise pay plans and benefits programs that meet industry standards.
9. Training & Development: Assess training needs and apply relevant programs to support employee development and enhance skills.
10. Data-Driven Insights: Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and analysis.
11. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices.
The successful candidate:
1. Proven experience as an HR Manager or other senior HR roles, in the Disability or Aged Care space
2. Understanding of NDIS nuances
3. People-oriented and results-driven with a passion for employee success.
4. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics and reporting.
5. Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases.
6. Ability to develop strategies and lead with a collaborative approach.
7. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
8. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
9. In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
10. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
