McArthur is currently seeking applications for the role of APS6 Senior Project Officer, to work with our government client.
This will be a -month role with potential for extension.
As part of this role, your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Undertake administrative responsibilities for Outreach Program Management project including briefings and reporting to support the Assistant Director,
NOPM and associated responsible officers to meet project delivery requirements including:
Project, committee and team meeting responsibilities to support the Assistant Director, NOPM and responsible officers as required, appropriate to the needs of Open Arms Outreach Program Management initiatives.
The development and writing of project briefs, executive briefs plus policies and procedures to support responsible officers under the direction of the Assistant Director, NOPM.
Update and coordinate file management for project documentation and supporting information to support responsible officers under the direction of the Assistant Director, NOPM to ensure efficient and effective project outcomes for the Outreach Program Management project.
Facilitate relevant professional development programs for responsible officers under the direction of the Assistant Director, NOPM based on the needs of the relevant branch business priorities and in accordance with identified professional development requirements.
Ensure all Outreach Program Management program and project work undertaken is conducted in accordance with the governance requirements.
Actively contribute to Outreach Program Management, policies and procedures, research initiatives and Quality Assurance activities.
As a member of the National Outreach Program Management team, provide support plus agreed contributions to the Clinical Programs & Policy section and act for the Assistant Director, NOPM.
The successful APS6 Senior Project Officer will have the following skills, experience and/or qualifications required to perform the role:
Mandatory Skills and Experience
Highly effective communications and interpersonal skills
Time management and coordination capability with relevant experience
Experience in government writing briefs, submissions and reports
Experience with the Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Outlook, Excel and Power-Point
Experience in project support and coordination
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience with Microsoft Access or similar database platforms
Experience with program management
Some experience in program & process design would be advantageous.
