Client Account Broker
Aon is looking for candidates with general insurance experience who are keen to progress their Insurance Broking career.
We are also open to candidates with customer service experience, who would like to kick start their Insurance Broking career, we can train you from scratch!
This role sits in our Aon Affinity team and boasts a high staff tenure, so this opportunity is rare!

What the day will look like
This is an exciting role with a varied client base including Barristers, Accountants, Architects and Mortgage Brokers, to name a few.
Your days will be busy and you will be the first point of contact for your portfolio while you manage client relationships and insurance policy renewals.
Your focus will be to service, maintain and grow the existing client base through retention, by providing insurance solutions and closing opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
5. Managing a client portfolio including all ongoing client insurance/risk needs
6. Service delivery, account management and account retention
7. Identifying and closing opportunities
8. Policy renewals – end to end
9. Providing relevant product solutions to clients within your authority
10. Assisting with complex client queries
11. Negotiating with Insurers and clients on risks outside of Underwriting guidelines
12. Understanding client financials and providing appropriate support regarding debt management, payment enquiries and settlements
13. Understanding, and complying with, regulated processes and systems
14. Completing daily client administration tasks
15. Maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times
16. Working towards individual and team targets

Our ideal candidate will relate to the following:
17. Insurance, professional indemnity, banking, retail or customer service experience (highly regarded)
18. Experience dealing with complex client inquiries (highly regarded)
19. Interest in growing or establishing your Insurance Broking career
20. Excellent time management skills
21. Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification and/or willingness to obtain (highly regarded)
22. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
23. Ability to build strong relationships
24. Comfortable working towards KPIs and targets
25. Proficient with Microsoft Office and any CRM (highly regarded)
