We are currently recruiting a Construction Coordinator for a Global Oil & Gas EPC on an initial 12-month contract to be based into the office initially and then transition onto site in the south of Perth.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop work scopes, work packs, permit to work, procedures and processes to support the team’s efficiency and quality of work
2. Review Piping design and ensure design is constructable, provide input to design as required
3. Preparation of constructability reviews and HAZIDS
4. Ensure all documentation, materials tools and consumables are identified and ready to execute for project portfolio
5. Responsible for the allocation of resources as defined by schedule
6. Participate in schedule and execution development to ensure the schedule is realistic and achievable for all base scope and carry over
7. Develop manning requirements and participate in the selection and recruitment of personnel
8. Provide direction, guidance and leadership to all members of the teams
9. Provide Leadership to achieve QHSE behaviours and culture to meet agreed targets
10. Lead Pre starts and Tool Box Meetings
11. Communicate clear and effective directions of job and schedule requirements to the work team
12. Ensure that activities are scheduled to allow project activities to be executed
13. Ensure planning and preparation of daily activities to achieve schedule for scope activities
14. Ensure compliance with SIMOPs requirements
Qualifications:
1. Trade background with minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical/piping fitting
2. Working knowledge of Construction processes
