This enables us to cross-train our teams, provide extensive and continuous education programs and offer unparalleled career opportunities!The Position:As one of 3 Theatre Nurse Team Leaders, you will be working closely with our Theatre Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the best care is received by our patients during their entire SASH journey. This role allows for a full view of Theatre space and requires rotations through patient wards within Surgery, Ophthalmology and Neurology. This role will suit a Senior Nurse with a keen interest and experience in Ophthalmology or Surgery and looking for an opportunity to start their leadership career!About You:We are looking for someone who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to a fast-paced environment! To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:A desire to work closely with our patients throughout their surgery journey including admission, prep, surgery, recovery and discharge.Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Experience in General Anaesthesia & ventilation is highly regardedConfidence working in an extremely busy environmentCommitment to the culture and values of SASHTo be considered for this position, applicants must have:Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingA minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in a qualified nursing positionPrevious experience as a Surgery Nurse or Ophthalmology NurseWhat's in it for You:You will be joining SASH at a very exciting time with endless career development opportunities for the team.
