Tenure: Full Time, Fixed-Term (Full Time, Permanent Teaching role with a 3-Year, Fixed-Term Appointment to the Middle Leader position)
Salary Range: $84,077 - $121,092 per annum pending experience + $12,648 ML Allowance + Super + Allowances
Classification: Middle Leadership - Tier 2
Incentives: IPRASS and ITAS Allowance

About the role
Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa is seeking an experienced and dedicated Middle Leader - Pastoral. This position is a Full Time, Permanent teaching role with a 3 year fixed term appointment to the Middle Leader position and commences 20 January 2025. While this role will see you working in a Middle Leader capacity, the position will also include a component of classroom teaching as part of your duties.
The position of Middle Leader - Pastoral is responsible for:
* Leading the pastoral care of students of multiple year levels within the College
* Supervision and induction of teachers engaged in pastoral care in the designated area of responsibility
* Pastoral care of staff engaged in the area of responsibility
* Other appropriate duties as required by the Principal and College Leadership Team.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other
* Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
