They play a crucial role in environmental sustainability by ensuring the proper handling, recycling, and disposal of HVAC components, in compliance with industry regulations.The Compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. (Opportunity for Over Time!)EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Type III EPA Freon Recovery Certification, or similar.Previous reclaim experience.Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact.JOB DUTIES (not limited to):Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery.Generate reports on the types and quantities of refrigerants reclaimed.Decommission and dismantle HVAC systems, ensuring the safe removal of refrigerants.Perform tests on recovered refrigerants to meet industry standards.Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process.Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process.Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities.Cross-train and help in other areas depending on workload.Company ProfileLennox (NYSE: LII) Driven by 130 years of legacy, HVAC and refrigeration success, Lennox provides our residential and commercial customers with industry-leading climate-control solutions.
