About the role Under the guidance of and reporting to a Principal, the Manager plays a pivotal role in creating value and driving improvements for our clients by providing comprehensive advisory services. This role involves advising clients on a range of areas including asset protection, business performance, business reporting, accounting and taxation management, wealth protection, and general change management. As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing a client portfolio, overseeing workflow management among direct reports, coordinating tax lodgement lists, and providing coaching and mentoring to junior staff members. Additionally, you will play a key role in building and nurturing meaningful relationships with clients, fostering client loyalty and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing a client portfolio: Be a regular point of contact for your clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service. Conduct thorough analyses and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored strategies to enhance clients' financial and operational performance. Coordinate and prioritize workflow management among direct reports, ensuring tasks and projects are allocated efficiently and completed within agreed timelines. Contribute and support the development of the team through the continuous building and sharing of knowledge while also engaging in their ongoing personal career growth. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development. Who we are after As the ideal candidate, you will be degree-qualified and have completed your CA/CPA qualification, familiar with accounting software such as Xero, Now Infinity, Practice Ignition, and Great Soft. With 4+ years supervising, leading, and mentoring staff in a business advisory environment, you will have: Ability to undertake various tax planning recommendations for clients. Able to prepare financial statements and tax returns for multiple and complex entities including various trusts and corporate entities. Possesses a positive and proactive approach to delivering superior support and commercial advice to clients. Strong numeracy and analytic skills with the ability to interpret and make sense of data. Strong time management skills with the ability to be agile with changing priorities and deadlines. Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and influence both internal and external stakeholders to build relationships. Superior written and oral communication skills.
