Requirements: The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline from a recognised accredited tertiary institution from one of the following disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, and Dietetics.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.While not mandatory, possession of postgraduate qualifications in health services management or postgraduate related clinical or business development is highly desirable.This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.Travel by light aircraft and/or road within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service may be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
