An opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to lead and deliver person-centred nursing care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards for Practice. The Clinical Nurse is expected to practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision-making. The Heart Failure staff support the Cardiology Service at both the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Biretinya and Gympie Hospital, with a plan to expand to Nambour in the future. Services provide inpatient, outpatient, and community-based education and support liaising with the medical, nursing, and allied health teams.

Remuneration value up to $79,140 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Part-time position, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
