OverviewThe Risk and Compliance reporting analyst will prepare and analyse risk reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to strategic process improvements in risk reporting. This role involves collaborating with multiple teams to enhance reporting accuracy and working within strict deadlines.
Reporting to the Manager, Risk & Governance Capability, you will create intelligent solutions for reporting and conducting analysis for the 2nd Line Risk and Compliance Teams. You will play a pivotal role in the collation of data for periodic reporting including but not limited to obligation reporting, trend analysis and compliance related reporting. This role provides an opportunity to grow and make a significant impact on our company's Risk & Compliance management strategies.
Hybrid working conditions- 50% in the office per fortnightKey incremental roleDrive change Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyse a variety of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting while partnering with Risk and Compliance Managers across the wider team to obtain valuable insights and trends.Communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders on data and insights.Automate Reporting processes and ensure robust Reporting controls.Prepare other internal and external reports related to operational risk and risk events.Communicate and collaborate effectively with various teams to participate in various initiatives.Undertake data analysis to support various projects and initiatives.Ensure full adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and the good conduct of the businesses, maintaining ongoing compliance and upholding the reputation of MPMS. Experience & Personal AttributesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.Experience with risk management and/or reporting platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict regulatory deadlines.A proven ability to coordinate and manage competing activities, at one time with the ability to prioritise accordingly.Demonstrated knowledge of Risk principles.A Risk mindset, with extensive knowledge of Superannuation legislation and regulations.Proven ability to engage stakeholders and effectively manage those relationships.3+ years financial services experience and tertiary qualified (Ideal).3+ years' experience in Operational risk and/or Compliance or related disciplines (Ideal).
