With a collaborative and forward-thinking approach, they offer a supportive team environment and opportunities for career growth.The RoleAs a Lease & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating lease renewals, critical dates, rent reviews, and compliance requirements across a commercial property portfolio. You will work closely with the asset management team to ensure seamless lease administration, financial accuracy, and adherence to industry regulations.Key Responsibilities:Manage lease renewals, rent reviews, and lease compliance processes.Maintain and update lease and compliance trackers, ensuring all data is current.Review and manage lease agreements, Heads of Agreement, and executed lease documentation.Oversee property compliance registers, including fire safety, asbestos, risk management, and insurance.Support financial processes, including coding invoices, tenant chargebacks, and EOM reconciliations.Liaise with tenants, solicitors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with lease obligations.Assist in the setup of new buildings and property handovers.Review and audit lease agreements against internal property management systems.Provide guidance to asset managers on lease negotiations, market reviews, and rental arrears.What We’re Looking For:Minimum 2 years of commercial asset management experience in the real estate industry.Strong knowledge of lease administration, compliance, and property regulations.Experience with Adept Property Management Software (preferred but not essential).High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and industry-specific software.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with tenants, landlords, and external stakeholders.A proactive and collaborative team player with excellent problem-solving skills.Why Join?Work with a respected and growing asset management group.Competitive salary and career development opportunities.Collaborative and supportive team culture.Opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.If you'd like to know more information about the role and company, then please contact Milli Hargreaves on 0439 778 823.
