About the Role
This is a casual position that involves promoting the quality of life and independence of families with young children, ensuring the provision of a comprehensive Maternal and Child Health Service.
Your Key Responsibilities
* You will deliver evidence-informed practice and high-quality, safe, and inclusive Maternal and Child Health Services.
* You will assess, monitor, and promote the health, growth, development, and behaviour of young children.
* You will provide counselling and support in a non-judgmental safe environment for individuals and families, addressing a wide range of parenting and family-related issues.
* You will educate clients about relevant community resources and services.
* You will assist and support clients to link into other services and resources where needed.
What We're Looking For
* A positive, collaborative approach to delivering best practice Maternal and Child Health services.
* A drive to learn and support families with the latest information that supports best outcomes.
* Post Graduate Qualifications in Child & Family Health as recognized in Victoria to practice in Maternal and Child Health.
* Current AHPRA Registration as a Division 1 Nurse and Midwife.
* A willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks, including Criminal History, Working with Children, Victorian Driver's License, Functional Assessment.
