Senior Payroll Officer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll officer to join our friendly payroll team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process payrolls end to end for clients – permanent and casual staff
* Maintain and update employee personal records
* Provide advice on payroll related queries
* Prepare and run monthly payroll report
* Submit payroll tax, PAYG, Workers Compensation and other compliance returns
* Reconcile payroll transactions
* Conduct compliance and auditing for payroll tax, work cover and superannuation
* Engage in project work involving payroll system implementation and redesigning legacy processes
About You:
* Prior experience in payroll, compliance and submission of payroll tax, work cover and superannuation
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong Excel skills – V look ups
* Able to multitask
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities
* Sound knowledge of award structures
