Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated chef to join our dynamic team full time. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on a modern, evolving menu in a high energy kitchen. While experience in plant based cuisine is preferred, we welcome all chefs who are passionate about cooking and eager to learn and grow in a progressive, sustainability focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present creative plant based dishes for specials
* Collaborate with the head chef to develop and refine menu items
* Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene and safety standards
* Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture
* Champion sustainability initiatives, including minimising food waste
Skills & Experience Required
* Culinary qualifications (Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent)
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, high volume kitchen
* Ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively in a team
* A passion for sustainable practices and an interest in plant based cuisine
