The Position
Reporting directly to the CFO you will form part of the senior leadership group and oversee all finance functions and reporting. You will be responsible for leading a mid-sized finance team, driving performance within required timeframes and engage with senior operational stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information, contributing to the profitability of the group by maintaining and implementing relevant controls around financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of within finance which includes qualified accounting professionals and transactional functions
2. Full responsibility and ownership of consolidated financial reporting for the group
3. Lead the planning, budgeting & forecasting for the group
4. Coordinate and deliver business unit budgeting/planning and group wide consolidation
5. Lead the development of financial strategy, policies and reporting functions
6. Identify areas for improvement and drive/implement process and system enhancements
Skills and Experience
7. CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
8. Relevant experience in a senior finance related role
9. Demonstrated success in improving financial reporting and controls
10. Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities
11. Exposure to the healthcare or aged care industries would be highly desirable
