THE ROLE Reporting to the Executive Director in the Central Highlands Area West Division this position plays a key leadership role. The role is accountable for the day-to-day management of the Agency Performance and System Support Unit. The role supports the department's strategic priorities of local solutions and place-based approaches for managing the performance of funded organisations; it is responsible for relationship building and agency performance at a local level. You will have responsibility for the teams monitoring and implementation of the Funded Organisations Performance Monitoring Framework, including management of local service agreements and the collection and recording of performance data through data systems (SAMS2 Live Monitoring). ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Maintain a comprehensive understanding of issues and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices to enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness and improved client outcomes Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders, and collaborate on the strategic design and development of departmental objectives that impact statewide or significant localised service delivery to ensure effective, efficient and coordinated services are provided for all clients.
