To date, it has successfully diverted more than 3.4 billion containers from landfills, returning $340 million to Western Australians, including nearly $13 million to local charities and community initiatives.This Role:WARRRL is seeking an innovative and results-driven Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead our IT and Finance functions, steering them to align seamlessly with our strategic and financial ambitions. In this newly created position, you will be instrumental in shaping WARRRL’s financial health, ensuring we meet revenue targets, optimise cost controls and maintain cash management practices. This role will also focus on ensuring WARRRL’s IT infrastructure is efficient, secure and scalable to meet operational needs including the adoption of new technologies and digital transformation initiatives to drive business efficiency.As a key member of the executive team, you’ll work closely with the CEO and the executive leadership team members to drive and implement strategic and operational business plans.Key Responsibilities:Leading the budgeting and financial planning processes.Developing and implementing IT strategies to support business goals.Ensuring data security, IT compliance and risk management across all digital platforms.Providing strategic leadership across business operations and inspiring a high performance culture.Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and IT systems to support operational efficiency.Preparing Board reports.Ensuring compliance with all contracted and statutory obligations.About You:With a passion for sustainability and the environment, you will be a high performing senior executive, preferably within the FMCG sector, with a track record of success in senior operational leadership and management roles. You will have strong generalist IT experience, including management of third party relationships, and high calibre strategic planning, financial, IT delivery, stakeholder relations and broader operational management skills.An understanding of the complexity of operations in the circular economy with experience in retail, consumable goods, recycling, industrial and or logistics sectors with a focus on financial leadership will be well regarded.
