This is a permanent full-time position in a great location with access to flexible working conditions.The Hardware Team within the Hardware and Software Asset Management unit is part of the Service Operations section of the Information Technology Branch (ITB). The team provides lifecycle management of contemporary Information Communication and Technology (ICT) desktop hardware assets to enable TMR staff to meet their business objectives aligned to the TMR Strategic Plan.Key ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior Technical Specialist (Hardware Assets), you will provide high level technical skills and expertise to support the effective operation and lifecycle management of ICT desktop hardware assets. The role underpins critical statewide services and forms part of TMR's strategic platform for delivery of client and network applications.You will be responsible for providing high level support to Technology staff and project team members to contribute to the effective management of ICT hardware assets.Some Of Your Responsibilities Will IncludeProvide lifecycle management and technical expertise for the department's Windows-based ICT hardware assets including desktop, laptop, and tablet computers.Research future ICT hardware equipment, products, and services aligned to end user requirements and profiles and develop strategic roadmaps.Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, including hardware vendors and managed service providers.Lead the Hardware Asset function and team members to provide quality support, information, and advice, including reporting to internal specialists, projects, management, and end users.Ensure systems, processes, and procedures are adhered to, controlled, and aligned to industry best practice ICT hardware asset management and security standards and controls.About YouWe recognise and celebrate that everyone is unique and seek the applicant best suited to the role.
