We recognise that women experiencing mental ill-health have specific needs that differ from their male counterparts that require tailored treatment and support. Located at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, the clinic is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 74 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in an innovative in-patient setting that aligns with the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.WREN has 14 general mental health beds, 5 eating disorder beds, and 5 perinatal beds. This role will require you to work across all of these pods.Responsibilities:Collaborate with consumers, families/carers/supporters and the multidisciplinary team to provide nursing care that supports women's mental health and wellbeing and promotes recovery.Foster a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all women.Complete mental health assessments, ongoing dynamic risk assessment, visual and physical observations, medication management.Offer education and support to women and their families/carers/supporters, empowering them to actively participate in the care process.Provide quality evidence-based care to our participants.Qualifications:AHPRA Registration.Acute Mental Health Inpatient and/or perinatal and/or eating disorder experience essential.Postgraduate Qualifications Mental Health (highly regarded)Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches and best practice.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment.Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
