WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
About the Team
This role will report through to our Warehouse Team Lead and will work alongside her members of the warehouse. The Warehouse team forms part of our greater Inventory Planning team which encompasses Material Control, Material Planning, a Logistics Engineer and SAP Master Data Specialists.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Operator, you will work in a growing team to ensure all goods to our site are unloaded, received, checked stored and picked in a safe and timely manner. You will work collaboratively with the Rheinmetall Inventory, Quality and Production teams as well.
As a Warehouse Operator, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
1. Unloading freight from trucks and receiving incoming goods;
2. Checking for damages and for discrepancies between goods and invoices;
3. Re-packing goods as well as picking / packing / put-aways into racking;
4. Ensuring accurate documentation, labelling and storing of product is adhered to;
5. Operating manual handling equipment safely; and
6. Assisting with regular stock takes and audits.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
7. Proven experience working in a large warehouse environment;
8. SAP system experience (desirable) or large ERP system experience;
9. Competent in the Microsoft Office suite;
10. LF (forklift) license (essential);
11. A positive attitude to safety and team work;
12. Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
