Join our thriving bakery in Caloundra, Queensland as a full-time Baker. As part of the DANG BAKERY HOUSE team, you will be responsible for crafting delicious artisanal breads, pastries, and confections to delight our local customers.
What you'll be doing
1. Prepare and bake a variety of bread products, including loaves, rolls, buns, and specialty items.
2. Mix, knead, and proof dough according to recipes and production schedules.
3. Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other machinery to ensure high-quality output.
4. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
5. Assist in the preparation of pastries, cakes, pies, and other bakery items.
6. Maintain a clean and organised work area.
7. Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and implement new bakery products.
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in baking or patisserie, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role in a commercial bakery environment.
3. Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety regulations.
4. Excellent time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
6. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
