This role involves supporting the Finance Officer in maintaining and processing payroll records efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate will be highly discreet when handling confidential information and possess strong teamwork and communication skills.Key Responsibilities – Payroll OfficerProcess fortnightly payroll using Single Touch Payroll in the TASS Payroll SystemMaintain staff personnel files and salary, wage, and leave recordsEnsure ATO and Superannuation payments meet required deadlinesCalculate and process annual leave and leave loading paymentsUpdate and maintain payroll proceduresInterpret and apply relevant awardsProcess annual pay increases and level advancementsPrepare appropriate letters and documentationKey Responsibilities – Registrar/Admin SupportProvide a warm and professional first point of contact for families, both in person and over the phoneMaintain accurate and up-to-date enrolment recordsEnsure efficient management of school information systemsWork collaboratively with staff to distribute accurate enrolment informationPay close attention to detail when updating and managing student recordsLiaise with relevant staff to facilitate the enrolment processEssential CriteriaStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and the wider school community with maturity and discretionCapability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentCalm, methodical approach to tasksWell-developed communication and interpersonal skillsCommitted Christian, active in your church and can subscribe to the College's Confession of Faith found on our website.Desirable CriteriaPrior experience in a school environmentHR qualification and relevant experience – Payroll OfficerExperience with enrolment and student record management systems – RegistrarHow to ApplyTo request an application form please email the Executive Assistant: #J-18808-Ljbffr
