The Role: Guest Service Agent and Porter
We are seeking an enthusiastic and guest-focused casual Guest Service Agent who can also assist our Concierge Team as a Porter.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide efficient and professional service for smooth check-in and check-out processes.
* Welcome guests warmly at every interaction.
* Prepare group arrivals under senior receptionist supervision.
* Report complaints or suspicious actions to the Assistant Manager or Front Office Manager.
* Sell hotel rooms and facilities whenever possible.
* Attend to car park charges and validations.
* Assist with guest enquiries and store luggage.
Requirements:
* Prior hotel experience is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
* Familiarity with Opera reservations system is an advantage.
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Sydney and surrounding areas.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to meet physical demands (e.g., lifting luggage).
* Positive 'can do' attitude and team spirit.
