With projects based both in the Private & Government sectors, service specialties include Network Engineering, Voice & Data Mobility, Security and Cloud.The Role The successful Network Engineer plays a crucial role by providing support for the diagnosis & resolution, deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure and related technology.Responsibilities Undertaking systems analysis, technical design, implementation and maintenance of solutions applied to customer infrastructure incorporating technologies such as wired and wireless routing & switchingDetermining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems across IP telephony, security, data systems and wirelessResponding to inquiries about software and hardware problemsNetwork troubleshooting and supportProvide technical support to clients by dealing with complex service queries and problems with clients' systems related to the above technologiesWork with the implementations teams and the customerWork closely with Project Managers and share responsibility in managing customer expectations across the project lifecycleMaintain high standards of documentation, communication skills and professionalismSkills and Experience Relevant tertiary education (Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications & Network Engineering) and accreditations (CCNA, CCNP)Experience with Cisco Systems, including routing, switching and security devicesAbility to perform detailed network troubleshooting and independently research and resolve issues as requiredExperience working with Government departments including Queensland Health, developing and implementing network engineering solutions.Good experience with office system softwareConstruction Industry White CardAbility to communicate effectively with team members and clientsIf this exciting opportunity resonates with you, please apply directly via the Seek advertisement.
