The Client:
A leading Australian consultancy providing expert town planning, land development, engineering, surveying, and environmental services. Fostering innovative solutions and delivering outstanding service to local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage town planning projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
2. Prepare planning reports and studies, project proposals, and cost estimates.
3. Mentor and supervise junior planners, ensuring technical accuracy and quality standards.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
5. Actively pursue new business opportunities and assist in developing proposals.
6. Coordinate project resources, manage budgets, and monitor project timelines.
7. Provide technical input on complex planning issues and resolve any project challenges.
Selection Criteria:
1. Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Environmental Planning, or related field.
2. Ideally 5+ years of experience in town planning and project management.
3. Strong knowledge of statutory and strategic planning, and related legislation.
4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and resources.
5. Excellent communication, client liaison, and business development skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
7. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous professional development.
