Following the decision by the Australian Government to acquire UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia has established a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the initial procurement and ongoing sustainment activities. The modern-day, 3rd Generation UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter is the world’s leading multi-role battlefield and special operations helicopter with a proven legacy of exceptional capability and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:
You will undertake spares assessment, management of inventory master data including cataloguing and codification activities to ensure ERP data is current and accurate enabling the efficient processing of acquisition spares.
Responsibilities include the following and more:
* Provide high level advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to UH-60M Black Hawk cataloguing and codification activities.
* Undertake codification and cataloguing of new items of supply in accordance with Defence Logistics policy.
* Maintain existing catalogue data to ensure compliance with policy, processes and procedures that support the acquisition and sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements.
* Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems and implement effective approved solutions. Including progressing specific engineering and logistics tasks in accordance with the Engineering Management System (EMS) and entering these approved changes into the inventory management and aircraft Authority to Fit (ATF) systems.
* Analyse the repairability of parts and components and conduct obsolescence management.
* Interpret aircraft technical manuals, specifications and standards and develop technical assessments to identify/validate alternate parts/equipment.
* Build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at the operational and business unit level.
* Produce accurate status reports to meet reporting requirements using specific tools and templates.
About you:
To be successful, you will demonstrate the following:
* Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in a relevant discipline (Aeroskills - Avionics, Mechanical, Structures etc.) from a recognised institution (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated knowledge of current Defence materiel logistics policies and application of them in the support of sustainment and acquisition activities.
* Demonstrated experience conducting inventory analysis, codification and cataloguing functions utilising Defence systems or proven experience utilising similar systems.
* Experience in the use of Defence aviation maintenance and logistics management tools such as CAMM2, ADAASS and MILIS (Soon to be SAP).
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
This role will be based at Enoggera in Brisbane.
