About the Role
In this pivotal position, you'll assist Lead Content Developers and the Assistant Director, Digital Applications in enhancing and maintaining our SharePoint-based document management system.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Content Creation & Optimisation: Design and deliver exceptional content for the Commission's document management system, aligning with digital service standards and best practices.
* Content Management: Handle publication processes, including content changes, updates, and archiving, ensuring adherence to publishing standards.
* Quality Assurance: Produce high-quality outcomes while juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
* Collaboration: Work seamlessly with geographically dispersed teams to achieve shared goals.
* Accessibility & Usability: Ensure all digital content meets usability and accessibility standards, creating a user-friendly experience.
* Training Development: Craft training tools to empower commission officers in using digital tools effectively.
* Data-Driven Improvements: Use analytics to drive continuous enhancements to the document management system and related digital content.
* User Experience: Deliver digital content services that enhance and exceed user expectations.
What You Bring to the Table
* Proven expertise in digital content design, plain English writing, and accessibility standards.
* Experience with content management systems (SharePoint is a plus).
* Innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to seize opportunities.
* Sound judgement to identify risks and develop effective solutions.
* Meticulous attention to detail and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including MS Project and MS Visio.
* Familiarity with systems development and project management tools (Azure Dev Ops is a bonus).
* Strong communication skills to tailor messages effectively for diverse audiences.
