Turf management - including mowing, snippingGarden maintenance – including weeding, planting, mulchingInstallation of memorial plaquesPreparation & set up of grave & ashes sitesInterment of ashes & supervising burialsCommunicating with funeral directors, celebrants, stonemasons, families & visitorsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
A sense of pride in your work and a willingness to tackle any task with a positive attitudeTo be fit & healthy, with the physical strength to perform heavy lifting, gardening & general maintenance duties for extended periods of timeExperience using ride on mowers & battery operated snippers & edgersHands on experience & knowledge of weed & disease management, turf management & horticulture (Cert III in Parks & Gardens, Turf Management and/or Horticulture will be highly regarded)The ability, knowledge & experience to operate a range of plant & equipment and/or the willingness to undertake trainingExperience with soft landscape skills such as planting, mulching & irrigation will also be highly regardedThe capacity to be at ease working in a Cemetery environment, resilience to be dealing with and talking to people about death, dying and dealing with the remains of deceased personsIf you would like to find out more about the roles we have available, please send through your resume & covering letter by email at [email protected] or lodge your application directly via this website.
