The Role:
The Allied Health Assistant - Physiotherapy assists with the daily functioning of Physiotherapy Services across the Southern Region of Tasmania and will exercise initiative and independent judgment in undertaking daily tasks, under the direct and/or indirect supervision from physiotherapists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement the prescribed treatment of patients, evaluate patient progress, communicate treatment outcomes to the physiotherapist, and document the patient’s medical progress notes.
* Assist physiotherapists and other allied health assistants with preparation for, and treatment of, patients, including transportation to and from treatment areas.
* Construct, repair, deliver, or adjust patient aids as directed by the physiotherapist.
Details of Appointment:
Health Services Officer, Level 5. Permanent full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary: $67,193 to $70,993 per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution on top.
