This exciting position on offer is for a Project Controls Manager, primarily responsible for the effective management of a Project Controls Team within a reputable EPCM. It offers longevity and an opportunity to deliver major projects in mining, rail, and infrastructure. The successful candidate MUST have: 10+ years' experience in a similar role on large projects in the mining industry, with experience in leading a team. Prior experience delivering in an EPCM/ESP environment. A strong understanding of financial and risk management principles. Understanding of Budget allocation, WBS, SOW, Cost terminology. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing external demands. Ability to influence key stakeholders. Experience in all facets of project controls including but not limited to; planning, cost control, document control, and project controls reporting. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of project controls to support current and future project development and construction. Provide leadership and direction to the project controls team and oversee the team to meet agreed project objectives and outcomes. Responsible for the development of integrated schedules. You will be tasked with the development of control budgets, cost estimates, and monitoring trends and forecasts. Ensuring support of the Projects Group with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification, and opportunities for improvement. Review and maintain the company work breakdown structure (WBS) for reporting.
