The role Located at our stunning waterside head office in Frankston and reporting to the Reliability Network Planning Manager, this role will work with a team of professional engineers and data scientists to develop South East Water's network reliability management plans. The role will engage with internal stakeholders and industry partners to ensure critical assets are managed to target elimination of failure risks, and deteriorating assets are renewed in an optimal manner balancing capital investment, customer and environmental outcomes, consistent with South East Water's operating license, strategic priorities, Corporate Plan and Price Submission. Preparing Asset Management plans for the water, recycled water and sewer network assets including reviewing and updating these plans as part of the annual Corporate planning process. In addition, the role will also support the broader business deliver on our customer service levels, providing critical advice on water, recycled water network and sewerage network management strategies and plans. Who are you? To be successful in this role you will have an education or background in engineering and also: Demonstrated experience within a similar role within the water industry. A tertiary qualification in engineering is essential, bachelor degree or higher, preferably in the civil discipline. Effective stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. Experienced in project and contract management. Proficient in professional business communication and writing skills adapting to technical and non-technical audience. Technical proficiency in asset management, condition assessment, risk modelling, asset renewal, rehabilitation and reliability planning of water supply and sewer systems, supported by extensive knowledge of WSAA, MRWA Codes, ISO55001 and other relevant standards.
