Are you an experienced Home Care leader ready to take on a pivotal role in a rapidly growing organisation? Our client is seeking a passionate Care Manager - Home Care (QLD) to oversee and expand high-quality Home Care services across Brisbane & Gold Coast.
About the Role
As the Care Manager - Home Care (QLD), you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and support services to residents across multiple communities in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will be responsible for fostering a holistic and resident-focused approach to care while driving quality and compliance across Home Care services.
This role is not hybrid-you will be required to work at least three days per week across Brisbane villages and at least one day per week on the Gold Coast .
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in an incentive program, with a performance-based bonus starting at 10% of their remuneration package, awarded after 1, 3, and 5 years of service .
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage Home Care services across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
* Oversee care resources and budgets to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care and Home Care legislative requirements .
* Work closely with Village Managers to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the Sales team to identify leads and facilitate resident transfers.
* Develop strong partnerships with local businesses, medical providers, and community groups.
* Educate residents and families on health needs, promoting independence and self-care.
* Record and escalate compliments, complaints, and concerns to safeguard safety, reputation, and financial performance.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a multidisciplinary team of Case Managers, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Carers .
* Regularly visit villages across Brisbane and the Gold Coast (travel allowance provided).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Bachelor of Nursing .
* Current AHPRA registration .
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Aged Care .
* Strong knowledge of Aged Care and Home Care legislation .
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport .
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
* First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
* Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment .
