Market Leading company are seeking a Payroll Manager who will ensure that employees are paid correctly, on time, and in line with statutory legislation. Responsibilities/ Objectives: Check electronic starter/leaver/change forms received from branches and manual forms from Head OfficeUpload weekly/monthly hours from branchesCalculate and process SSP/SMP/SPP/SAPDownload and check Tax Codes/Student loans from the Inland RevenueCheck and enter P46/P45 tax formsComplete benefit forms / Mortgage referencesDeal with monthly payroll of 6,000 colleaguesProcess data to strict timetable deadlines ensuring that all data received in payroll is accurate and ready for uploadingCheck trial run data that has been imputed by payroll team and communicate any errors back to management for corrections to be made.Stop any necessary BACS paymentsChecking and paying over of AOE/CSA order deductionsChecking and paying over of voluntary deductionsLiaise with branches / Head Office colleaguesDeal with any payroll queries as they arise from colleagues or 3rd party via telephone, E-mail & postRun any necessary reports required by other departments in Excel Skills and Experience: Proven experience within a Payroll functions and have working knowledge of start to end payroll.Confident with working with Excel and Payroll SystemsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
