You'll collaborate with the brightest and best minds, growing your skills whilst belonging to a highly respectful and inclusive culture, sharing the commitment to an essential purpose.About the Role & Responsibilities:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial (Contracts), the Contract Manager is responsible for the end-to-end contract management of assigned contracts for the full post tender contract lifecycle.This is a 12-month fixed term role; however, AEMO is committed to providing pathways and opportunities for ongoing work across our business and AEMO wherever possible and/or practical.Responsibilities include:Onboarding and establishing governance with the OperatorsManaging contract performance and complianceCommunicating escalations and risks to the Senior Manager in a timely mannerAssessing, and where required, seeking approval for any contract variationsDrafting Approval / Board papersDeveloping monthly reporting to Senior Management / BoardProviding insights from Operator engagementMaintaining accurate information within the Contract Management systemExploring innovative procurement & contract management solutions to support the contract management functionDemonstrating and promoting a culture of integrity, accountability and safety in all practices and activitiesCommunicating effectively with a range of stakeholders, translating technical & complex information clearly & conciselyUndertaking objective, critical analysis to draw accurate conclusions that recognise and manage contextual issues and explore/recommend alternatives to contribute to system, process and business improvements.Develop an understanding of and adhere to standards of governance and probity requirements in accordance with ASL’s processesDemonstrate and apply basic risk and compliance assessment skillsAbout You & the Role Requirements:Proven experience in Contract Management, Project Management and/or Procurement to deliver complex infrastructure projects, transactions or financingDemonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership relating to contracts and contract managementStrong interest in, and curiosity about, energy transition and/or renewable energyA solution, client-oriented attitude who thrives in a dynamic working environmentA true collaborator who is proactive and willingAs a flexible workplace, AEMO Services can consider any Australian based location for our successful employee; however, access to an office in a capital city does work well for our team.
