As a Purchasing & Expediting Officer you will be responsible for materials and consumables purchasing and for expediting orders with suppliers in accordance with business priorities.
Key duties include:
Raising & Managing Purchase Orders with our suppliers in accordance with EOS processes and proceduresOrder scheduling and rescheduling; liaising with our Suppliers and our Production Team to ensure orders are placed and prioritised with agreed due dates in accordance with EOS requirementsExpediting orders with our key suppliers to ensure critical delivery dates are metFollowing up with suppliers about overdue Purchase OrdersManaging and maintaining correct and up to date Purchase Order data in our ERP systemInvestigating and resolving identified discrepancies in purchase orders, supplier invoices, and stock receipts and movements, as related to the purchasing function.Keeping abreast of business priorities and actioning purchases accordingly.Skills and Experiences:
You need to be a detail-oriented problem solver and can work collaboratively with others.
You demonstrate sound pragmatism and judgement.
To be successful in this role you need to be solution oriented and be able to meet the tight deadlines and respond quickly to business priorities.
Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role with manufacturing (or OEM), FMCG, recognised Supply Chains.Experience working with ERP systemsPurchase order management experienceHow To Apply
