Have you had previous experience as a Commis Chef working in a fast-paced kitchen in a small to medium sized venue? Or are you a keen cook looking to take the next step in your career? Redcape Hotel Group is looking for a Commis Chef or a Cook to join our Kitchen Team at Lakeview Hotel Motel.

Key qualifications, attributes, and responsibilities:
* Demonstrated leadership and previous experience.
* Ability to solve problems and seek guidance where necessary.
* Clear communication skills with a high level of organisation.
* Uncompromising approach to product & service delivery – a great hands-on service ethic.
* Exceptional capabilities in quality and consistency of product delivery.
* Supporting Head Chef with day-to-day operations of the Kitchen and assisting in their colleagues' absence(s).
* Capable of working cohesively and autonomously within a team.
* Required: Candidate must have flexible availability which would suit prep, lunch & dinner services across 7 days of operations in conjunction with our Hotel’s Operating Hours.
* Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Preferred: Certificate III in Kitchen Management and/or Commercial Cookery.
* Preferred: Although experience in operating multiple obligations for several service points is preferable, it is not a mandatory requirement.
