What will your typical day look like?
You will work as part of the Deloitte Global Employer Services (GES) team to support and advise some of Australia’s and the world’s largest and most innovative companies. In this role, you will
4. Provide advice to international assignees about the Australian tax implications of their assignments
5. prepare Australian tax returns and Australian tax calculations
6. support and advise corporate clients with tax and policy issues arising from their global mobility programs including employment tax advisory
7. Dealing with revenue authorities such as the ATO
8. Assist in the delivery of successful mobility program engagements and projects
Deloitte GES will provide continual on-the-job and formal technical training as well as a mixture of clients to work with, giving you exposure to a broad range of issues and opportunities to build client relationships. You will be part of a wider client service team, working together with our global network of mobility tax specialists to provide holistic solutions to your clients.

You are someone with:
9. Experience in a previous Australian tax role in expatriate tax (preferred), personal income tax or employment tax
10. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, as you will be working directly with individual clients, corporate clients and tax revenue authorities (e.g. ATO)
11. Strong verbal and written English communication skills
12. Ability to manage and prioritise tasks across numerous multinational and individual clients including meeting KPIs
13. Working knowledge on Australian tax technical issues covering mobility tax, including tax residency, double tax agreements, capital gains tax, employee share schemes and Australian employment tax issues
14. An eagerness and commitment to expand your focus and skillset to become a broader advisory professional across all areas of global mobility to better support your clients
15. Solid research and analytical skills
16. A degree in accounting, commerce or law is preferred.
