Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Practice Manager of Shared Specialty Suites, the Clinical Office Coordinator performs a wide variety of administrative responsibilities and support to the physicians in the Shared Specialty Suites.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Experience: One to three years Administrative Assistant/Medical Office preferred.
3. Licensure and/or Certification: Graduate of a Medical Assistant/Secretary program preferred.
4. Skills:
1. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and moderate keyboarding is required. Knowledge of GE Centricity to access and utilize electronic medical records preferred.
2. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with strong ability to multi-task required.
3. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
4. Knowledge of patient billing, account processes, third-party billing, and revenue cycle preferred.
5. Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
