Join our team as a CSSD Instrument Technician in the Perioperative Service Department.
You will play an important role in providing high-quality service to theatres and other clinical areas, ensuring they have the necessary instruments for procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Thermal Disinfection: Inspect, package, and sterilize instrumentation for theatres and clinical areas according to AS/NZ standards 4187:2014 and GENCA guidelines.
* Machinery Operations: Operate, interpret, and document machinery operational requirements.
* Quality Control: Report and document quality activities.
* Prioritization: Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes.

* Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation.
* Sound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187:2014.
* Experience with tracking systems.
* Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Intermediate computer literacy skills, including MS Office and databases.
* An interest in promoting best practice patient care.
